on may 8, 2019, the zanthoxylum bungeanum planting technology exchange held by zhengzhou nongda biochemical union jiangjiarong agricultural service center was successfully held in wutan town, jiangjin district, chongqing. more than 600 rural households in jiangjin district participated in the meeting.
jiangjin, chongqing, is a famous "hometown of pepper" in china. it has a tradition of planting pepper since ancient times. as early as the yuan dynasty in the 14th century, pepper was planted. at present, the whole jiangjin area, pepper planting area of 500,000 mu. more than 90% of the growers are retail, while real pepper growers are rare. in order to grow high-yield and high-quality pepper, the cultivation technology and management of pepper is particularly important.
